…with the holidays at home

Hello everyone! Happy Holidays! We hope you are all doing well. Our Christmas cards are going out tomorrow, so be on the lookout 🙂

We had a really nice Thanksgiving with Jer’s side of the family. Ate lots of yummy food, watched the parade and plenty of football, and had fun playing games.

This is just a short little update on Livy.

Liv had her appointment with her pulmonologist and it went well. We will continue to see here every six months until Liv is probably in Kindergarten. She likes to follow her kiddos through then to see how they do when they get sick and then also check for asthma because many preemies that have lung issues are susceptible to getting it.

Today Livy had an appointment with outpatient pulmonology. She is still on her growth curve but hasn’t made much movement in the weight department, but her head and length have grown quite a bit! We will go back there in two months for a shorter appointment with just nutrition and then in six months to see the nurse practitioner to check in on her lungs.

Today Olivia also had PT/Child Development. They were very happy with Liv’s progress. Wouldn’t be shocked if she is walking soon. But she is having fun walking on her own with her learning walker and holding our hands. I’ll have to record it and share it.

We are so looking forward to all the holiday festivities this year and introducing Liv to them. So far she loves Christmas lights, she got her first Advent calendar toy, took her first photo with Santa this weekend and was unimpressed. The photo should be funny. Below are some photos from our mischevious girl over the last couple of weeks:
