Thursday night TV is insane. I don’t know what it is that makes networks decided to play all the best shows on this one night. Maybe there are stats that say most Americans watch TV on this night, but it makes it so hard to watch all the shows that I like. I have three that are on at 7pm for me! So, two of them I have to watch online. Oh wait, just remembered, this week Community is moving to 7pm too, so now I have 4! Enough of my complaining…here is my Thursday line-up:
FlashForward: I remember last year, during the end of the Lost season, these weird teasers coming on advertising for a new show. At first I was a little annoyed because they gave no details but I got more and more curious (ABC knew what they were doing). Then I found out it has some of my favorite actors from Lost on it. The concept is really interesting. Everyone around the world blackouts for 2 minutes and 17 seconds. During the blackout people’s memories flash ahead to April 29, 2010 at 10pm pst. I don’t want to give too much away, but this show has definitely hooked me and I am hoping it will replace my Lost fix when that show ends after this next season.

Survivor: I have not watched this show since the Australia season, but I was over at some friends house and they are avid watchers, so what was I suppose to do? Of course I am weak and I get sucked in by watching one show. Now I’m hooked for the whole season. Each week I am going to be praying that Russell gets kicked off…cannot stand him. And I love Mick. First episode I nicknamed him “Jack” from Lost, so we will see if he can live up to it.

Vampire Diaries: I am really ashamed to say that I have been watching this show. When I saw the previews I thought it was just a rip-off of Twilight and it looked cheesy (even more than Twilight). On iTunes they had the pilot for free, so I got it because my plan was to watch it and then be able to talk about how crappy it is. Well, it has Ian Somerholder, who was Boone on Lost, and I love him. And then I was intrigued by the story line. This is my guilty pleasure now. I hate to admit it, but I couldn’t write this up and lie to my readers-so there you go.

Community: I love TalkSoup and Joel McHale. How could I say no to this one. I really do enjoy the show. It has some great off-the-cuff comedy and it has to be a winner with Chevy Chase on the cast. But my favorite character has got to be Abed. Every episode he makes me laugh out loud.

The Office: Last, but certainly not least. This should be self explanatory. Great cast, amazing writers, and a great storyline. This weeks show may be my favorite. It is Jim and Pam’s wedding. I read an article in last week’s Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming episode and it is going to be great. Well, at least I hope it lives up to all the hype 🙂

OK…there ya go! My fall TV line-up. A couple of shows I did not mention are Top Chef and Project Runway. I try to catch those when I can. Project Runway I am usually able to watch online, but Top Chef is nowhere to be found. So, if I am channel surfing and its on I try to catch up.
Have a good one and until next time…PEACE OUT!
