…about “Valentine’s Day”

My movie adventure of the weekend happened to coincide with the holiday I do not celebrate, “Valentine’s Day.”I have been semi-excited about this film. Previews reminded me of “He’s Just Not That Into You.” Which is a film I thought was meady oaker. A star-studded cast seems like it should be an amazing movie, but that is not always the case. I also read/heard many reviews that were negative. But I never go by reviews anyways. Everyone has their own opinions and likes/dislikes. Let’s just say I wasn’t holding my breath for an amazing film. I was just looking forward to being entertained for two hours. And for me I was not disappointed.

I was entertained. Now granted Valentine’s is not in my top list of movies, but I think I will buy it when it comes out.

Low: Taylor Swift. She was not good. She needs to stick to song writing and singing her own songs. Maybe she should have just stuck to kissing Taylor Lautner…scratch that, I don’t know how there could have been more making out.

Favorite plots lines: Loved Ashton Kutcher/Jennifer Garner as well as Julia Roberts/Bradley Cooper (even if this was very minimal, both had two huge impacts)

I think its worth a viewing, but if you are really picky or tend to side with the “critics” then save it for a rental. Until next time…PEACE OUT!
