Hello everyone! I finally set up my blog. And I do apologize to those of you who have been eagerly awaiting this, but the lack of internet access has become a big pain. Hopefully I will have internet up and running by tomorrow in my apt.! I don’t have much time, but I will fill you in quickly on what has happened since I left the great state of California.
I got to Austin, Texas…more specifically, Round Rock on Thursday, January 22. My family and I moved all my stuff in and began the long process of unpacking my life. I am still unpacking…it never ends. I am hoping to maybe post some pics so you can all see my new home.
The next days I just spent time with my family, eating out, organizing and taking trips to the likes of Target, IKEA, Walmart, HEB (the grocery store), JCPenny, Ross, etc.
Saturday was a nice little break when my sis and I got to go see Cayden play indoor soccer…we got to see his first goal! And then we got to see Caleb play a little basketball.
Sunday was church and then Sunday evening we had a our first meeting for the core team for the church plant. It was great to get to meet everyone and to get the ball rolling. It is a little nerve wracking and I am a little nervous, but that is a good thing. I know I am going to be stretched, I’m going to fail, I’m going to succeed (I hope), I am going to learn and grow. It is going to be a roller coaster ride, but I am excited for where God is going to take me on this new adventure of my life.
Thank you all for your continued support and prayers in my life. I truly appreciate you and who you are in my life. I am not going to promise that I will update this everyday, but I will try to do it regularly. Sometimes I might post on what’s going on in my life and then some days maybe I will write about a current event, or maybe since I am now in Austin, the live music capital of the world, I will give you a concert review every now and again 🙂 Who knows…I’m just going to go with the flow.
I would love to have a more creative name for my blog, so if you have any ideas send them to me.
So sit back and enjoy the ride…And until next time…PEACE OUT!
