Yesterday was a hard day for me. I had to put in my two weeks at the law firm. Many of you may be a little confused as to why I am doing this, so let me explain. The church is going to be able to hire me on full time! And I’m going to get benefits! WOOT! No more holding my breath hoping I don’t get injured or sick. I haven’t had insurance since April.
I am so excited to soon be able to focus all of my energy to the church plant. This is the whole reason I moved to Texas. It has been extremely difficult to give 100% to the church, while working at the firm and it has definitely shown and I hate that. So look out, cause I’m going to be on a mission 🙂
With all this to say, it is hard to leave the firm. I have loved every moment I have worked there. It is a great office to work in and I feel so privileged to have been employed there. Everyone has been so nice and I will truly miss it. I knew my working there would be temporary, but I didn’t think it was going to be 3 month temporary.
I do apologize for my lack of posts lately. Things have been really crazy, but hopefully this weekend I will have time to catch up on everything that I am behind on…I know, wishful thinking right?
So stay cool…if anyone knows of a place that has had more triple digit days than Austin let me know. I think we are at 45 or something…INSANE! When I go back to Cali in a couple of weeks I am going to need a sweater, haha.
