OK…so quick update on the day so far…I got called by two people at midnight my time (good job David and Jess) and I got a text from Alicia and Carmen…throughout the day I have received numerous other calls and texts and I appreciate them all. I feel very loved.
So, I went in to work today. I treated myself to a Starbucks. And then Aimee took me to lunch. I picked Chilis. I hadn’t been there since I moved here and it took me back to the good ol’ days of celebrating my birthday. It was great. Aimee was very sweet and got me my fav. perfume! And we still have a date to go get my a cupcake 🙂
I went back to work for a little bit and then I came home. I got a few cards in the mail…I actually randomly got 4 grad announcements today (thanks for sending those to me: both Kyle’s, Tor, and my cousin Jordan). Alicia left some roses and balloons for me on my door, so nice! And then in the mail I also got a card from the grandparents and my friends Steph sent me this cute shirt from H&M, she knows me so well! I love it! It’s of course purple. And then I was just chillen’ on the couch when a knock at the door came and my mom and step-dad sent me an edible arrangement with strawberries, pineapple and grapes (my fav.).
To top it off, it is the most perfect beautiful weather day here in Round Rock. It is sunny, not a cloud in the sky, breezy, not humid and a comfortable 75 degrees! How much more perfect can it get?!
I’m off to Caleb’s little league game and then Cyndi is making her amazing homemade pizza tonight! I hope you are all enjoying today as much as I am 😉 I will give more details later. Thank you to all of you who are making my first birthday in Texas one to remember. Until next time…PEACE OUT!
