I had quite an eventful morning. I woke up earlier than usual, at 8:15. HAHA, I know it’s not early, but for someone who does not have a job to go to everyday yet and sleeps in, its early. Anyways, the way I woke up was because I heard a loud noise like a garbage truck by my window. And then the light bulb went on…I was told that the parking lot was going to be re-surfaced and that my car needed to be moved by 8am. CRAP! So, I shot up, threw a sweatshirt on, and ran out to move my car. When I went out there I felt a little better because there were quite a few other cars left. I went and moved mine to the other side of the building because I remembered they had done that side last week. I was awake when I got back to my apartment, so I then proceeded to surf the Internet from bed.
About 20 min. goes by and all of a sudden there is a knock on my door. It is a man in a Hawaiian shirt that I have never seen before. I crack the door open and he asks me if my car is out in front. I kindly tell him no, that I had moved my car to the other side of the building. But he says that they are doing that side too (which no one said that except for him) and that I had to move my car to another part of the complex. I am a little annoyed, but whatever, I do it.
I get back from moving my car a second time and about 30 min. later I get another knock at my door. This time I recognize Travis, he is the maintenance guy, super nice. I open the door and he asks me if that is my gray charger out there. I kindly say no and tell him that a guy already came by and asked me that. I then ask him if the other side of apartment parking lot is getting re-surfaced today as well, and he says no. AAAHHH…So I tell him about the false information that I received and he apologizes. And I go back to surfing in bed.
After, I took a shower and started getting ready. When about an hour later I got another knock on my door. I am still in a towel and my hair is in a towel. I look out the peep hole and it is one of the leasing agents from the office. I cracked the door open and now she asked me if that was my gray charger out in front! I chuckled and replied no and told her that she was the third person to ask me that question. She said that the car was not in their system and then asked me if I knew whose it was. I don’t, but I do know it was a woman, and she had a baby. So hopefully that helped narrow the search down.
After all that mess, I got ready and left, but who knows if there were more door knock at my apt. Hopefully, that never happens again, and I will forever think of this morning whenever I see a gray charger. Hope you are all having a manic Monday! Until next time…PEACE OUT!
