The Bachelorette. Let me give you a little background of my history with this show.
I watched the Bachelor early on. I’ve watched 5 out of the 13 seasons of the Bachelor and 3 out 5 seasons of the Bachelorette. I had stopped watching the show 4 years ago, but back in January I was forced to watch the new season. I was with a group of friends on vacation and they all wanted to watch it, so I obliged and was then sucked in yet again. And then I got more people sucked in-sorry about that. It is a vicious cycle. This was the season with Jason who initially picked Melissa, but then at the “after the rose show” decided he had chose the wrong girl and switched to Molly.

One of my favorites from the beginning of this season was Jillian. She is a cute Canadian that got voted off when she was in the top 3. At the “after the rose show” they announced Jillian was going to be the new Bachelorette, so how could I not watch it. That’s how they drag you in, they hook you with people that you fall in love with. So, I am hoping they don’t pick any of my favorites for the next Bachelor.

This season with Jillian is not over yet. The biggest controversy this season has been over Wes, the country boy from Austin. The first show I loved Wes. I was so excited that there was a guy from Austin. There were actually quite a few guys from Texas-6 out of 30. But as the show went on Wes became the guy that seemed like he was only on the show to promote his career and then it was “revealed” that he had a girlfriend back home. When he was finally kicked of this last Monday it was his goodbye limo interview that shocked everyone when it seemed as though everything that the audience had thought the whole season was true and he revealed it in such a distasteful way.
Tuesday, on a local radio morning program, The Bobby Bones Show, they interviewed Wes and my thoughts on him changed. In the interview he talked about how much the show edited what he said. I’ll let you decided for yourself and won’t say much more.

But in ending I will say that I would love to just be able to sit down and have a little chat with Wes and really get a feel for who he really is as person without the cameras, so maybe if I see him around Austin I’ll get just that chance. Below is the link to the website where you can listen to the interview. It was on July 7th-part 10. Check it out and let me know what your opinion is. Until next time…PEACE OUT!
