No post Tuesday…my normal music day. I should have switched it with another topic, but the sickness got the best of me. I pretty much went to bed after “American Idol.”
As I type, the top 12 guys are performing on “Idol.” I am not impressed. There are 3 guys and 30 minutes left. I’m hoping they saved the best for last.
What makes this even worse is I didn’t really like the girls last night either. I felt like most of them fell short. I voted for three girls: Didi, Katie, and Crystal, but none of them were outstanding.
I don’t understand how a lot of these people did so well during auditions, but do horrible when it comes to proving themselves in front of America. The judges have been tooting all of the contestants horns saying there is so much talent this season, but I have yet to see it.
With not many strong contestants at the moment the pool that my friends make every year may seem challenging this season. Let’s hope the next 2 weeks people come out shining.
I’m beginning to feel like I’ve wasted my time when I could have been watching the Olympics, last night’s “Lost” episode, or even “24” on DVD.
After tonight’s episode I’m voting for 3 guys: Todrick, Casey, and Andrew.
Here’s to hoping next week the contestant’s take all of the judges critiques to heart and feel more comfortable on the stage. I don’t want to feel like I just wasted 4 hours of my life again.
