…with the pretty sunset.

OK, I have an announcement. We have chosen a name! It is Summit Community Church. It is so exciting to finally be able to start saying it when we talk about it with people. There is a lot going on this week. Last week was kind of lax when it comes to church plant stuff because the Cagle’s were moving into their new house. And I painted all day Tuesday and was pretty much out of commission on Wednesday and Thursday. Definitely used some muscles that hadn’t been used in awhile to paint 2 bedrooms and a living room. Now our next biggest task of the church plant is to find a place to have our services. We do have the theaters reserved but we would like to find a place closer to our target area. I don’t know if I have shared this already, but there is a building that a church was using, but they are no longer there, so our core team is finding out this week from the owner’s what the deal is, so this could be a good possibility and this would be sweet. Part of our getting ready for the church would be construction 🙂 Fun stuff. So I will definitely be keeping you up to date about that.

On a different note, I wanted to share with you all the beautiful sunset that I got to see tonight. Unlike most of the rest of the U.S. right now, we had a lovely day here in Texas. It was a sunny and 66 degrees. This picture does not totally capture what it looked like in person. But you do get to see one of the sweet water features at my apt. complex. Which is one of the reason’s I chose this place…haha…that should surprise none of you (thanks for your comment on my last blog Marcus!). Have a wonderful evening!
