Big announcement! WordPress has informed me today is my 5yr anniversary. Where has the time gone? In those 5yrs I have lived in 4 cities, had 5 jobs, and published 139 blog posts. Some of those years were definitely more active than others, but it is really awesome to be able to look back at my posts and see where I’ve been, what I’ve done, and what I’ve loved. So, thank you to anyone who has ever read my blog and an even bigger thank you, to anyone who has ever commented on it. It’s a cool thing to have someone acknowledge what you wrote. A comment on my blog gives me the same feeling as getting a handwritten letter in the mail from a friend.
Alright, enough about my Blogiversary 🙂 Onto the GOOD STUFF.
It’s been a hot minute since I have posted on here. The last time was all about my birthday, so I thought I would keep things consistent and make my first post back be all about my next birthday. This time of course we are talking about the BIG 3-0.

I definitely would not have seen myself where I am now at this age. But I am content. I have gained a lot of life experiences living in different places and working in different fields. Soon, I am bound to find my sweet spot 🙂
For this big year, I’ve decided to make it “The Year of 30.” On every 30th day of each month (February gets no love), I will do something special. Kind of like what I did last year for the entire month of May. So, like last time I am open to suggestions.
I also, want to do something different for the month of May itself, since everyone knows I love to celebrate my birthday for all 31 days. I’m definitely going to be brainstorming for that one.
I do have one event planned for my actual birthday, that I wanted to open up to anyone and everyone. As you may or may not know, I love Disney! And I love going to Disneyland & California Adventure. I have a season pass and I live a good 7hr drive from the parks 🙂 If I could, I would live there. My birthday this year falls on a Sunday–May 18th. I have decided to spend my Birthday weekend at my favorite place and I am inviting all of you. If you know me you are invited! I know many will not be able to go whether it be location, finances, or vacation time, but I wanted to give anyone who wanted to try to go an ample amount of time to make arrangements and/or save to experience Disney with me, haha. My dream would be to fill an entire car in Tower of Terror with people I know. I would definitely shell out the money to buy that pic and frame it.

Here are my arrangements, if you decide you are up for the adventure! I will be flying to SoCal Friday, May 16th after work. Then it’s off to the parks on Saturday May 17th and Sunday, May 18th (My actual b-day), so if you don’t have a pass, you will want to get a hopper no matter if you are going for one or both days. Â I’m then flying out Monday, May 19th. Friday and Sunday night, I will be staying with my sister in LA, but on Saturday night we will be renting a suite at the Hyatt. If the price stays right it will be $48 per person and there is room for 4 more people (a bunk bed and a queen sofa pull out). If you are interested in staying in the suite let me know ASAP, so I can get the reservation.
I’m so excited for this trip, I can barely stand it! I hope to see as many of you there as possible to ring in the DIRTY, FLIRTY 30 Disney style!
That’s enough for now.
Until next time…PEACE OUT!
Danielle, I Love the way you Celebrate!!!! 😉
Wahoo! The Big 30. Count me in!
Dani,
As you know I will not be able to attend, but I know you will have a rip-roaring good time without me. May your trip be everything you want it to be. Love Mom
