OK, so there are a few things I could blog about and I am just going to write about all of them.

First: This weekend my good friend Steve was in town. I have know Steve since the 6th grade, so we go way back. He was checking out UT as a possible grad school. He is checking out three other schools, but my vote of course is for UT. Second would be Dallas because then he is only 3hrs away, 4th would be Davis, then you could be like I have been for the past 3 years and I could visit you when I came home, and last would be Utah. So Steve, let me know how close my order is to yours after you check them all out.

Anyways, on Saturday I picked up Steve and we got to hang out for the whole day. I showed him where I live, we had lunch (Which Which is really good) and I took him to this really nice shopping area called The Domain (its not a mall, so I don’t know what to call it, and it’s really nice, so calling it a center would not work either). Then we headed back into the city and we went to dinner at the Hula Hut. It has some good Tex-Mex. If you ever come out to visit me I will take you there. It’s right off of Lake Austin, I think, and it is beautiful. After dinner we went out on 6th street. There is a dueling piano bar called Pete’s that I wanted to check out. It was so much fun. We sat up stairs and got to participate, but even better we got to watch all the people down below. It was hilarious. Just give people some alcohol and some good tunes to sing along with and they go crazy! So much fun. We hung out there for like 2hrs and then we just walked the strip. It was a great day. Sad to see my friend leave.

Second: Today I am writing this blog to you from bed. I woke up sick. How sucky is that! Now many of you would not like to hear all the gory details of my sickness, so if you really want to know what’s wrong with me e-mail me, facebook me, or myspace me and I will fill you in. But the bummer of all this is I had to cancel lunch with a possible future friend! We rescheduled for next Tuesday.  I was also suppose to be going over to a couple’s house for dinner, but I had to reschedule that one for Thursday. I hope this thing does not last more than 24hrs. It sucks when I have things to do (like mailing Ryn’s slippers) and I barely have enough energy to make myself some chicken noodle broth and type this blog.

Third: On a high note for today the new Fray CD came out. It has been a long time coming. It is good. So good (I think of Andrew, Steph). I would highly recommend the deluxe addition. My favorite song on the album besides “You Found Me” is…shoot, I can’t decide, I like “Say When” & “Ungodly Hour,” but I really like them all.
